About this Learning for Leaders

Resilient leadership is a key enabler to build and maintain workplace wellbeing and a workforce that can 'bounce forward' when the going gets tough. It is the fuel of healthy high performance within teams.

In any working environment where employees are vulnerable or feel overwhelmed, resilient leadership is instrumental in preventing pressures and demands building up to breaking point. By role-modelling resilient behaviours themselves, demonstrating good work-life integration, strong working relationships and a healthy lifestyle, they will lead and champion wellbeing. This programme will build on the leadership skills already taught on 'Looking after our Resilience' programme, and then go deeper into the studies of neuroscience and how by creating brain friendly practices in organisations the workforce can be self sustaining, manage their energy & avoid burnout, keeping your people firmly in the performance zone.

I am the Founder of Choose to Grow. I'm a Leadership Coach specialising in workplace resilience and have trained thousands of leaders in global organisations to continually collaborate & innovate in challenging times. My aim is to create a movement of leaders who can influence the culture of a team to increase its capacity to be resilient. We know that the actions of leaders can nurture or diminish the resilience of a team. We also know that it is critical that leaders role model resilience to instil a sense of confidence that future challenges can be embraced. My big game is to make corporate leaders more comfortable when leading in uncertainty so they can prioritise their own wellbeing and that of their teams in times of upheaval and rapid change.
